The new “Get Brilliant” makes an unbelievable showing of catching the style, tone and humor of the ’60s series, while moving it into a cutting edge reasonableness. I had expects this film in the wake of seeing the two leads doing a 30-second play on the Foundation Entertainment pageant and thought they were dead on. So I contributed $11.50 and was demonstrated right.
In the first place, this is no modest knockoff. The creation group caught Buck Henry’s creation believably both in tone and substance.
