The story begins with a fascinating reason yet before long overdoes it in portraying a few shocking scenes of a phantom’s retribution during which time a lot of blood is shed for frightfulness fans who like something like this. It’s very much acted and tense for certain discreetly underplayed opening scenes, however when the phantom beginnings unleashing the spot the situation becomes ridiculous and the story loses a lot of validity.
The acting is fine, with Famke Janssen giving areas of strength for an as a lady compelled to wear a lower leg wristband and held under close watch by a dubious cop who was her significant other’s accomplice. Yet, the pressure doesn’t turn out to be tight until the last third of the story and afterward it goes beyond ridiculous in portraying brutality.
