John Carter is an unfairly excused science fiction masterpiece…grossly uncalled-for. What was the matter with it? In particular, what was off-base? Pacing? It was extraordinary!!! Coming from somebody who utilizes this word sparingly, this film was “EPIC”. I’m close to 100% sure that time will empower objectivity, and objectivity will recover it from the stinging impurity slapped on it because of a typically oversimplified repugnance for what is “standard” by film pundits. If a studio other than Disney might have made a similar film with a portion of the spending plan it would have been proclaimed as a realistic accomplishment inside the science fiction class, yet its financial plan was seen as garish and its creation studio as infantile, so it became “cool” to detest on it before anybody had even seen it.
