On his way the dusty Mexican fringe with a plunder of over $2 million covered up in the boot of his vehicle, an escape driver winds up in the notorious “El Pueblito” jail. As the main American prisoner in the perilous town of convicts, the driver rapidly gets the moniker “The Gringo”, and discovers firsthand that it is so harsh to be an outsider in a universe of hoodlums.
