As a portrayal of the silliness of crew life and the off track “fellowship” that frequently overwhelms the reasoning of organization individuals, this film illustrates the numerous ways that preliminaries can turn out badly. What starts as a totally ludicrous trick prompts a far-fetched series of misguided decisions and sad occasions — haughtiness and prejudice appear to be the rules that guide the crew individuals’ feeling of “fraternity.” One of the siblings (whose name I was unable to tell you, since the characters are so level and undefined) really has a feeling of ethical quality and battles his companions with an end goal to make the best decision, yet he is — obviously — over-dominated.
