‘Mentor Carter’ depends on a genuine story of Mentor Ken Carter, a questionable secondary school b-ball mentor played by Samuel L. Jackson. Mentor Carter took the training position under his standards. He accepted that the players should keep up with passing marks and become a unified group or they wouldn’t play. All the cooperative individuals marked his agreement to do precisely that. The group was undefeated and en route to the 1999 State Title, when Mentor Carter got the low grades of his players.
